European Immunization Week 2025: Humanly possible

Under the theme “Immunization for all is Humanly Possible”, this year’s campaign highlights the urgent need to achieve high and equitable vaccination coverage in every community, to prevent future outbreaks and protect public health.

At BioNet, we are committed to bridging these immunization gaps through innovative vaccine development — targeting respiratory diseases like whooping cough — and exploring mRNA platforms to better prepare for tomorrow’s public health needs.

Pertussis (whooping cough) is making a dangerous comeback in Europe. Between January 2023 and March 2024, nearly 60,000 cases were reported across EU/EEA countries – a tenfold increase compared to previous years.

Vaccination is one of the most effective tools to prevent disease and protect life. Together, let’s work to raise awareness, share knowledge, and collaborate toward high and equitable vaccine coverage.
